Project to Protect Wildlife of Kui Buri National Park, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

On May 24, 2022, Siam Winery sponsored the Protect Wildlife of Kui Buri National Park project, an initiative we have proudly funded every year since 2009. The intention of the project is to help restore forest food sources for the park's wildlife, which include the improvement of 200 rai of grass plots, improvement of 2 water pans and adding 5 artificial salt licks, which goes a long way in creating additional supply of food and water for wildlife. In the past, farmers nearby have had to endure damage to their fruit and vegetable orchards around the national park, so creating these additional food sources helps to mitigate the issue of animals venturing outside the forest for food. At present, the population of wild elephants, bulls, red bulls and other wild animals have bounced back and continue to increase in the area. We hope that supporting this project will help to revive the wildlife population while maintaining a healthy balance between the wildlife and community that live in the area.
